OPPORTUNITY DETAILS:
MusicOpps.com staff is pitching select tracks to editors working on current NASCAR programming. Music may be used during the races, on highlight reels, pre/post race recaps, intro and outro clips, track and driver trailers, and many other placements across official network outlets. Staff will be pitching weekly throughout the ongoing season. These placements air on National TV across NBC, FOX as well as all dedicated official NASCAR sites and official overseas alliances. Segments historically feature unique, high-energy music to enhance the commentary and visual action of NASCAR races and NASCAR culture.Past placements include, but are not limited to: Coca-Cola 600, NASCAR All-Star Race & Open, Sprint Unlimited, Daytona 500 Qualifier (Fox 1), STP 500, Toyota Owners 400, Coke Zero 400 (NBC), various NASCAR Productions projects and more.

GENRES ACCEPTED:
Country (contemporary/old school and outlaw), Indie Rock, Alternative Rock, Southern Rock, Americana, Grass roots, Active Rock, high-energy instrumentals, Hard Rock, Cross over Country, EDM, and multi-genre tracks appropriate for NASCAR action and culture.
SUBMISSION CRITERIA:
- Tracks must be well-produced, professional, and ready for inclusion in television programming.
- Tracks must be appropriate for the content that it will be supporting.
- Artists must own all copyrights. No uncleared samples, covers, or re-titled tracks.

COMPENSATION:
If selected, you are guaranteed to maintain all of your rights and will earn royalties from your P.R.O. (Performance Rights Organization) as seen on your quarterly statements. Sync fees may or may not be offered to the artist. Up-front sync fees are offered on a case-by-case basis, at the discretion of the producer and depending the usage of the song and the networks available budget. Selected tracks will be exposed to millions of viewers. On-screen chyron credit may be given, as well as artist web/social media links (where applicable, as determined by the segment editor at the network).
Historically, music selections have been high-energy, up-tempo tracks that serve the action and emotion of sports energy and sports culture. All usage agreements are non-exclusive, limited term clearances (approx. 6-12 months) with an option for the artist to renew or remove tracks from producer's database at will.
Music placements will earn performance royalties for U.S. and international usage along with chyron credits when applicable. Approved music will be accessible to all producers/editors and used during sports broadcasts, highlight reels, bumps, intro and outro clips, trailers, and myriad placements across Fox Sports outlets. Music may also be approved for paid sync placements on a case-by-case basis (sync placement payouts and terms will be mutually agreed upon with the artist prior to usage). Segments will air on local, national and international TV, network sites and affiliate stations.
SUBMISSION PROCESS:
Songs submitted will all be reviewed thoroughly by MusicOpps.com staff. All tracks that match the submission criteria will then be passed along to producers and for consideration into their broadcasts. If selected by the producers, Network/Production Studio reps or MusicOpps.com will provide the usage agreements, terms and deal memo. Artist/Rep contact information will be provided to all deciding parties for direction communication. Artists/Reps can expect to hear directly from the network's legal/clearance department to complete the process. Sync fees will be presented and agreed upon by the artist/representation, Music Opps will never handle, nor meddle in any financial transactions at any time.
There are no additional fees once an artist is selected, only the submission fee listed below.
