OPPORTUNITY DETAILS:

MusicOpps.com is pitching select artists to network editors working on their 2021 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs and Stanley Cup Finals broadcast highlights, teasers, bumps, intro and outro reels. Music selected may be used during the nightly game recaps, on network specific highlight reels, pre/post game bumps, athlete teasers, intro and outro clips, network game trailers, stats, news, update segments and various placements across participating NHL outlets. These placements air on National TV which may include NBC, NBCSN, CNBC, USA, NHL Network and dedicated online NHL sites in the US and Canada. Re-airs overseas may occur depending on affiliate outlets, airing and syndication rights.

GENRES ACCEPTED: 
High-energy inspirational/motivational "hype" and "pump up" music. Rock, Hard Rock, Metal, Alternative, Urban Beats, Hip-Hop/Rap, Pop, EDM/Dance, Industrial, up-tempo instrumentals, dramatic orchestral, Top-40-style tracks, and all applicable cross-genres that support the energy and style of high-action, up-tempo edits.

SUBMISSION CRITERIA:
- Tracks must be well-produced, professional, and ready for commercial play.
- Tracks must be appropriate for public performance.
- No re-titles or uncleared samples.

COMPENSATION: 
Upfront sync compensation is determined by editors and TV network clearance department executives. Networks may offer $500.00 to $750.00 USD for up-front compensation for both Master/Publishing as determined by the editor and clearance department at the network. Royalty payments are determined per airing and are calculated by duration of usage (Vox or Instrumental), date and time of usage, placement in the show and the act/artist's draw. P.R.O. (Performance Rights Organization) compensation for writers and publishers will be based on current royalty rates, as determined by industry standard. Royalties are paid out to artist/writer/publisher's P.R.O.

Terms of compensation will be approved, negotiated and mutually agreed upon by the copyright owners and the television producers in writing once final tracks are approved.

Details, deal memos, terms and conditions will be provided to those who make the final cut. MusicOpps.com does not meddle in contracts or financial transactions. Music Opps only curates top lists for editors and clearance department executives for their consideration. If selected, your professional contact information and streaming links will be passed along to the deciding parties.

SUBMISSION PROCESS: 
Songs submitted will all be reviewed thoroughly by MusicOpps.com staff. All tracks that match the submission criteria will then be passed along to decision makers and editors directly. If selected, MusicOpps.com staff will then provide contact information and instructions on how to complete the process directly with the network. Artist and/or label and publisher retain all ownership and receive compensation directly via Performance Rights Societies.

- A streaming link of your song (for producers to stream). No file-delivery or FTP links.
- WAV file/MP3 and metadata (once reviewed and selected for broadcast).
