OPPORTUNITY DETAILS:
White Knight Worldwide Media (BMI) and MusicOpps.com are scouting top independent and unsigned artists for radio rotation and live, on-air phone interviews. MusicOpps.com is working together with DJ's and station programmers to offer undiscovered artists a chance to get into rotation on radio and participate in one-on-one interviews about music, the artist's journey, the record industry, and more. This opportunity includes rotation on traditional terrestrial radio, online radio, college radio, iHeartRadio in local territories and rotation for live events hosted by the DJ's.SUBMISSION DATES: March 7th, 2016 - May 30th, 2016
GENRES ACCEPTED:
(New and Old School) Hip-Hop, R&B, Funk, Jazz. Additional Genres: Top 40, Pop, EDM, Dance/DJ, Contemporary, Cross-genre tracks.
SUBMISSION CRITERIA:
-Tracks must be well-produced, professional, and ready for radio play.
-Tracks must be clean and appropriate for national performance.
-Artists must own all copyrights - please no uncleared samples or covers.
COMPENSATION:
If selected, you are guaranteed to maintain all of your rights. Artists with selected songs will be exposed to industry taste makers and music listeners across terrestrial and on-line radio. Reporting stations submit play lists to Nielsen BDS for reporting. Online stations report to SoundExchange.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
- A SoundCloud link of your song (for station programmers to stream).
- Both a WAV and MP3 of your song (if selected for rotation).
- Website or EPK for DJ's to review.

Songs submitted will all be reviewed thoroughly by MusicOpps.com staff. All tracks that match the submission criteria will then be pitched to national and local program directors and DJ's. This is a very time-consuming process and only artists with a true "radio worthy" single will be pitched. If selected by any given station, MusicOpps.com will then provide the necessary information directly to the artist to complete the process. Artists will be put in touch directly with the DJ's to arrange interview times. All rights will always remain with the artist and MusicOpps.com will not charge anything additional for our work above and beyond the submission fee listed below.
