OPP: Walmart In-Store Placement

Get Your Music Into Over 5,000 Walmarts & Get Paid.


White Knight Music Group (BMI) and Pulse Records USA are pitching select artists for Walmart in-store check-out screens and their associated ad campaigns. Digital marketing teams are auditioning music to play inside over 5,300 U.S. Walmart, Walmart Express, Sam's Club and Superstore locations. These songs will be used to showcase the top-selling brands and will play at the checkout counters as well as all of the various screens throughout the entire store.

Tracks must be high-energy, light-hearted, uplifting and mainstream appropriate to motivate shoppers and support branding messages for top household, cosmetic, and food/beverage brands. (Brands may include, but are not limited to Nestle, Johnson and Johnson, Hansen, etc.)

- Usage Duration: 2 months (June-August)
- Ad length: 00:30
- Usage: All moving media including in-store, and industrial usage.
- Agreement: Non-exclusive, one-time usage only.
- Territory: USA
- Medium: In store closed-circuit check out screens

SUBMISSION DATES: April 13th, 2015 - May 13th, 2015

Rock, Pop, Indie, Alternative EDM, Dance, Soundtrack, Orchestration, Pop EDM and all appropriate cross-genres. Instrumentals are welcome.

- Tracks must be well-produced, professional, and ready for inclusion in programming.
- Tracks must be clean, positive energy and appropriate for the content that it will be supporting.
- Artists must own all copyrights (Master/Publishing)
- No uncleared samples or covers will be allowed.
- Must be non-union. (SAG/AFTRA & AFM)
- Must provide streaming link, MP3 and .WAV file upon request.

$5,000 USD per track (one-time, non-exclusive, all in master/pub)

Songs submitted will all be reviewed thoroughly by Pulse Records staff. All tracks that match the submission criteria will then be passed along to ad firm decision makers for consideration. If selected by the producers, Pulse Records will then provide the usage agreements and further information to complete the process. There are no additional fees once an artist is selected, only the submission fee listed below. Pulse Records does not take cuts, fees or commissions.
